European Technology and Innovation Platform for Photovoltaics elects new members to its Steering Committee

The Steering Committee of the European Technology and Innovation Platform for Photovoltaics (ETIP PV) convened for a hybrid meeting—both online and onsite in Brussels—on 26 May, hosted by SolarPower Europe and organized by ETIP PV Secretariat. The meeting brought together members to review updates, discuss ongoing priorities, and align upcoming activities across the platform and its Working Groups.

The exchanges highlighted the continued collaborative spirit within ETIP PV and reaffirmed the shared commitment to strengthening Europe’s photovoltaic innovation ecosystem and advancing its industrial leadership in solar energy technologies.

A key agenda point was the Steering Committee elections, during which approximately half of the seats were open for renewal. A total of 36 candidates stood for election, reflecting strong engagement from the community. ETIP PV warmly thanks all applicants for their interest and commitment to contributing to the platform.

The election results were announced at the closing of the EUPI-PV Conference on 27 May. ETIP PV warmly welcomes both newly elected and re-elected members, who will play a central role in guiding the platform’s next phase of activities.

The platform also expressed sincere appreciation to outgoing members for their long-standing dedication, expertise, and contributions, which have been instrumental in advancing ETIP PV’s mission and impact.
