Expert Workshop - Definition of the European R&I priorities for the PV industry
The PV industry is undergoing major transformation in Europe and across the world. PV technologies have continued to transform radically over the past years, and breakthrough innovations are on the horizon at various levels of Technology Readiness, from the development of modules based on new materials, the substitution of raw materials, more efficient and digitalized manufacturing processes or an increased focus of circularity by design. These innovations all follow two overarching objectives that the PV industry is running towards at breakneck speed: ever higher efficiency, availability and reliability in PV electricity generation, and ever lower costs.
In this high-level event, PV experts from academia, research institutes, and the PV industry will convene to define the research and innovation priorities for the future.
Date: 13/02/2024, 14:00-16:30 CET
