About ETIP PV

The European Technology & Innovation Platform for Photovoltaics is a EC funded network of experts sharing a long-term European vision for PV, helping to ensure that Europe maintains and improves its industrial position, in order to achieve a leadership position within the global PV market.

ETIP PV has supported and will continue to support the SET Plan. It aims to raise the profile of PV and to help policymakers craft legislation and tailor research programmes to optimally support the technology.

Composition

ETIP PV members share ETIP PV’s Vision as defined in its Terms of Reference and possess a skill or experience that enables ETIP PV to pursue its Mission, also as defined herein.

The Steering Committee is ETIP PV’s permanent decision-making body. It is composed by around 30 members who participate in a personal capacity with the support from the senior management of their organization, committing to the activities of the Platform on a voluntary basis.

Anyone may stand for the Steering Committee, including representatives from civil society, NGOs, the legal profession or the financial community.

Commitment

Steering Committee members commit to attending Steering Committee meetings, which take place three or four times a year either online or in different towns in Europe, and to preparing for these meetings. They also commit to input substantially in written form to the Committee.
