The Steering Committee in Berlin
This time the ETIP PV steering committee was meeting in Berlin and specifically in HZB Berlin where they were kindly hosted by the Chair Rutger Schlatmann.
On October 10th, the hybrid meeting gathered 33 members online and in-person to discuss the upcoming activities of the PV Research and Innovation in Europe.
One of the main points of discussion was the preparation of the next annual conference 2024 where the topic has been defined “Digital PV and Grid”. The meeting was the opportunity to start shaping the different sessions topics.
ETIP PV is currently working on the SRIA PV (Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for PV) update planned in 2024. A discussion took place around the SC members opinions on how to protect EU made PV products. A public consultation is open to update the SRIA PV: EUSurvey - Survey (europa.eu)
The meeting included a debate on the establishment of the co-programme partnership possibilities initiated by the European commission and the role of ETIP PV in the process.
On October 11th, the present members had the opportunity to visit Oxford PV factory in Brandenburg an der Havel located 90 km from Berlin. The visit was the perfect occasion to have a closer look into the world’s first volume manufacturing line for perovskite-on-silicon tandem solar cells.
