5TH ASSEMBLY OF THE EUROPEAN PHOTOVOLTAIC TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM-THE SOLAR EUROPE INDUSTRY INITIATIVE: SETTING THE FUTURE OF PHOTOVOLTAICS IN EUROPE
In line with the Spanish EU Presidency, the EU Photovoltaic (PV) Technology Platform held its 5th General Assembly on 18 June 2010, in Toledo, Spain.
This year, the main focus of the General Assembly was the Solar Europe Industry Initiative, being the major PV Technology programme developed in the frame of the SET Plan of the European Union. The event was split into 3 main sessions:
- The Solar Europe Industry Initiative: Maintaining the European Industry leadership
- Analysis from a Member State perspective
- The situation of PV technology in Spain
European and Spanish stakeholders, including personalities from the research institutions and CEOs from Europe’s leading PV companies, as well as Members of the European Parliament, the European Commission and the Spanish national and regional institutions attended this event.
