The Steering Committee reunited in Berlin and visit the Oxford PV factory

The Steering Committee gathered in Berlin to discuss the current issues in the pipeline on 10^th October .
One of the main points of discussion was the preparation of the next annual conference 2024 where the topic has been defined “Digital PV and Grid”. The meeting was the opportunity to start shaping the different sessions topics.
On October 11^th, the present members had the opportunity to visit Oxford PV factory in Brandenburg an der Havel located 90 km from Berlin. 

Public Consultation for the 2024 update of the SRIA PV  

In the framework of the 2024 Strategic R&I Agenda on PV update, ETIP PV is conducting an open consultation to collect the community opinions on one or several topics of interest.

The survey gives you the opportunity to contribute in indicating the gaps in the PV research and innovation agenda. Your responses will remain completely anonymous and confidential, and will only be used for research purposes.

Parallel event at EU PVSEC

ETIP PV has been represented in several sessions during the last EU PVSEC 2023 week in Lisbon. Neverthless, the highlight of the week was the "Data, AI and IoT: Opportunities and Challenges of PV Innovation" parallel event.
The session was special by its format of an interactive workshop which involves the audience in 3 rotating discussions of 15 minutes each around 3 PV digitalisation roadmaps of the SRIA PV : Digitalisation of PV systems, Digitialisation of PV manufacturing and Smart Energy Integration of PV

The discussions have been moderated by active members of the Digital PV and Grid working group ; Pierre-Jean Alet (CSEM), Venizelos Efthymiou (University of Cyprus FOSS) and Gofran Chowdhury (3E). The ideas collected can be found below and will be considered in the 2024 update of the SRIA PV (Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for PV).
